Free Downloadable Printable NOAA Charts Your government makes these for you - technically, they're not free, your taxes helped pay for them. But others take them and print them out and then SELL them to you. Print 'em yourself and save! Or just look at them on your screen. There are several navigation programs that use these charts, Cap'n Voyager and a free one listed below among them..

On-Line Boat Math Calculator Calculates Hull speed, Speed/time/distance, Swing Radius, and much more. After it makes your calculation, it shows you the math. Fun.
A whole page full of Boat Design Shareware Haven't tried it ourselves, maybe someday. Scan down the page to which the link takes you to find it. Down the page a little farther is a link to boats built using their free Boat Design Program. Another fun one. Something to do in the middle of the long, cold winter.
