Mail Forwarding

Sometimes just trying to simplify your life can be complex.
Keeping in touch with people while you're out cruising is easier now with the internet and cell phones - when you're close enough to a signal. However, you still need to get your mail. You want to receive your magazine subscriptions, greeting cards, and (shudder) bills.
And how do you do that? With a mail forwarding service.
How does it work? You contact a mail forwarding service and set up an account. They give you an address. You contact everyone who would normally send you mail, including credit card companies, your bank, the magazines to which you subscribe, all of your friends and relatives. And fill out a change of address form at the post office. Now your mail forwarder gets all of your mail.
When you know you're going to be somewhere that you can receive mail you can call your mail forwarder and they will package up what you have and send it to the address you give them. This may be a relative or friend you're visiting, general delivery at a post office, or a marina where you may be staying.
How do you find a reliable mail forwarding service? There are many listed on the internet - just do a search for Mail Forwarder and you'll find several. However, we are going to recommend one to you which we have used for many years. They are friendly, reliable, reasonably priced and offer several other services. One of the most important is that they can supply you with parts you need when you're in some remote island and the flibertygibbet on your satcomrefrigerorengine has just smoked. And they'll get you a good price.
The one we use and heartily recommend is:
